What does academic standing mean?
This refers to your performance in courses pursued during a given semester.
What is good academic standing?
This is determined by your GPA at the end of a semester. In order to be in good academic standing your GPA must be 2.00 or higher
How do I find out what my academic standing is?>
At the end of each semester when your grades are posted to your transcript, your academic standing is noted above the courses taken (see highlighted section in the example below)
When should I be concerned about my academic standing?
If after the end of a semester, your results come back and your standing changes from “Good Standing” to “Academic Warning” you should seek assistance.
