The Faculty congratulates Ms. Teresacita Cox and Ms. Alexandra Tillett of the Department of Government, Sociology, Social Work and Psychology on achieving third place in The UWI Cave Hill and CIBC Caribbean’s Innovate New Venture Business Challenge 2024. The competition rewarded staff for impactful and innovative ideas that lead to the generation of income for their unit/department and the Campus. Ms. Cox and Ms. Tillett won $10,000 for their UWI Afro-Caribbean Fashion and Art Academy. The institution will provide higher and diverse levels of entertainment and education in this relatively untouched market of the region.
