Research: Research Centres and Units - Accounting, Accountability and Corporate Governance

The Accounting, Accountability and Corporate Governance Research Unit (AACG Unit) will seek to serve the needs of the company and their stakeholders enabling value creation, facilitating interaction, stimulating debate, defining solutions and disseminating its research and recommendations throughout the region and internationally through publications, seminars and conferences.
 
The Research Unit will seek to explore issues of accounting, auditing, accountability, corporate governance, corporate responsibility and ethical decision making and how these impact the perception of the firm and its future especially within the Caribbean and globalised contexts.
 

Mission


The AACG Unit will be the leading multi-stakeholder, in the region in the field of accounting, accountability, corporate governance and ethics and will strive to be a centre of excellence for both theoretical and applied research.
