Bio

Mr. Bovell joined the Department of Economics at The University of The West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, in January 2020.  He has over 15 years working experience in the public and private sector across the Caribbean (Guyana, Antigua and Barbados) and Canada. Prior to joining the University, Mr. Bovell spent six (6) years in the airline industry with a focus on Optimization, Pricing and Revenue Management, Supplier and Contract Management, Supply Chain Management and Business Strategy Development and Execution.

His interests lie in the area of Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation Administration, Aviation, Pricing and Revenue Management, Operations Research, Regional Integration and Economic Development. Mr. Bovell actively seeks to deepen his knowledge through independent research or collaborating with researchers in Social Sciences or other disciplines.
