The Department of Economics and Inter-American Development Bank Internship Competition
The Barbados Country Office  of the Inter – American Development Bank (IDB) is offering a three-month  internship to an Economics student of  The University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus. Through exposure to the Bank’s economic research and operational work, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to expand his/her educational knowledge and experience in areas relevant to his/her academic and professional pursuits.
The selection process for the Inter-American Development Bank Competition included a short essay (600 words) outlining "why you would like to pursue an internship at the IDB" and an oral presentation (7 – 10 minutes) for a panel at the IDB.
