Wednesday March 12th at 10 a.m. marked the start of the Faculty of Social Sciences’ 50th Anniversary Fair. This event provided the perfect opportunity for the faculty to showcase its programme options to prospective and current students at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
The faculty’s departments and affiliates were represented at the event along with supporting administrative departments of Student Services, Student Affairs, SERU and the International Office to name a few. This gave prospective students the opportunity to learn about all of the study options available with the Faculty, the university’s application process and about student life.
It was not all seriousness however as there were opportunities to win prizes, giveaways, a gaming bus, fashion show, craft and plants on sale as well as a wide selection of tasty treats from food vendors.
