\n\t\t\t\t\"Publications\"<\/p>\n

\t\t\t\tPublications are an important component of the Department\u2019s research output.<\/p>\n

\t\t\t\tThey include academic publications such as journal articles, books, and book chapters. Additionally, non-academic but informative pieces are published in newspapers, magazines, and other traditional and non-traditional media. They cover various topics and themes, including the decriminalization of Marijuana, Caribbean democracy, governance and elections, public sector management, children and family psycho-social development and gender studies.<\/p>\n

\t\t\t\tThe Department also produces its own publications that integrate its staff and students’ diverse research interests to encourage an intersectional approach to topical political, social, and economic issues and concerns. Consequently, these publications, grounded in extensive academic research and theory, respond to real-life issues in society, governance, business, and national development. Thus, our research provides useful information to a wide cross-section audience, experts, policymakers, educators, and everyday citizens.<\/p>\n
