All new incoming students (January 2026) and  continuing students in the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Faculty of Sport who commenced studies in (September 2025) and are required to write the MPT (please click here for information on exemptions) are hereby informed that the test will be held at Cave Hill Campus on:

FROM 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 NOON 

 

IN MICRO LAB 5 (ML5) – ROY MARSHALL TEACHING COMPLEX,
CAVE HILL CAMPUS
 

All candidates are required to pay a BBD 50 (USD 25) fee before registering for the MPT.

Candidates are permitted to attempt the MPT only ONCE

• Upon completion of registration, candidates are required to complete the online practice quiz to ensure that they are familiar with the online system before the test date. 
• The Department of Economics will provide you with the necessary information to take the test once registration has been completed.
 

• Candidates can pay the MPT fee online by clicking here. 
• Payment can also be made in person at the Cashier in the Administration Building at The UWI, Cave Hill Campus.

• After paying for the test, candidates are required to complete the online registration form.

• Once the form has been submitted you will receive an email from the Department of Economics with information regarding the test.
