The Faculty of Medical Sciences updates its list of mentors for all categories of staff.
In keeping with efforts to improve the staff preparedness and success as they progress along their career paths, the Faculty of Medical Sciences has updated its mentorship list for staff to identify suitable mentors to establish mentorship relationships. The areas for mentorship align with the assessment / evaluation criteria used in the annual review cycle for staff and complements other mentorship efforts in the past.

Ms. Archer or designate will facilitate the formal mentor – mentee association and initial meeting to outline expectations of the mentorship relationship.
Sensitising Staff in the FMS about the Annual Review Process
The Faculty of Medical Sciences has published three (3) podcasts on the annual review process for staff and its instruments. These published pieces align with a recommendation from the Mentorship and Staff Development Committee in the faculty to provide additional guidance to staff on the annual review process and instruments.
These instruments are guidelines which align with ORDINANCE 8 - POWERS OF APPOINTMENT, PROMOTION AND DISMISSAL of The University of West Indies’ Charter, Statutes and Ordinances.
