- National Professional Consultancy Services for Strengthening the Primary Health Care in the field of Pediatrics in the public sector of Barbados.
Funding Agency: Routed through the Ministry of Health, Govt. of Barbados
Grant Amount: Barbados $66,667.00
Role: Principal Consultant on this project
Year 2013 – 2014 (Completed).

Grant Amount: BD$ 65, 000 (for all four components)
Role: Principal Investigator for the component – Environment related
diseases of childhood in the Eastern Caribbean.
Year: 2009 – 2010 (completed)
A multi-disciplinary service consultancy project conducted for the UNICEF/UNEP (Eastern Caribbean Office) to describe the impact of environment on children. My work involved collecting data on the environmental effect on the health of children, analysis and drafting policy framework for environmental diseases affecting children in the Eastern Caribbean.
- The emerging impact of the HIV/AIDS on children and AIDS orphan-hood in Barbados.
Funding Agency: the Jacques Parisot Foundation of the Pan American
Health Organization/World Health Organization
Grant amount: BD$ 10, 000
Role: Principal Investigator
Year: 2005-06 (completed)

children and ascertained the magnitude of AIDS orphan hood in Barbados.
- Health care status, self-disclosure of their status and sexual behavior among the HIV infected women diagnosed during the antenatal voluntary counseling and testing.
Funding Agency: the Caribbean Health Research Council (CHRC),
Trinidad and Tobago.
Grant Amount: BD$ 7,500
Role: Principal Investigator
Year: 2005 – 2006 (completed)
This research project identified the barriers to the adequate follow up and care of these women in this country and therefore provided the vital input for developing policy and interventions for better care of women diagnosed early in the course of their disease when proper treatment and care would make significant different in prolonging productive life.
- Behavioral Surveillance Survey for the secondary school children in Barbados.

It described the demography, the information source for the HIV, their level of knowledge about HIV and their attitude toward persons with HIV. Data form this survey was used to design and implement program to facilitate risk taking behavioral changes in this highly vulnerable group.
