Bio

Dr. Arianne Harvey achieved her MB.BS. (Hons) from the University of the West Indies in 2007 and completed her postgraduate residency training in Internal Medicine at Yale New Haven Hospital in 2013.
She joined the academic staff of UWI (Cave Hill) in 2015 as a Clinical Lecturer and simultaneously assumed the post as Associate Consultant in the Department of Medicine, Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Dr Harvey is an active member of the American College of Physicians (ACP) and is the faculty representative for the ACP Internal Medicine Interest Group. Additionally, she mentors both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
She sits on several committees that administrate scholarship awards, graduate tracing and alumni matters, undergraduate and postgraduate student matters, and quality assurance and ethics in hospital care.

Research Areas

Dr Harvey has research interests in non-communicable disease and medical education, in the context of vulnerable population disparity, particularly with respect to gender.
