
The MPH programme at Cave Hill was developed in response to expressed training needs of the region to develop practitioners who are proficient in public health disciplines such as epidemiology, health promotion and public health leadership.

Applications are accepted from November to February. However, expressions of interest are accepted ALL year.
The Public Health group undertakes research in many areas of Public Health often in collaboration with the George Alleyne Chronic Disease research Centre. Most recently the collaborative operating under the designation, the UWI COVID-19 Pubic Health group, supported the work of Ministries of Health and other entities across the region.
