Dr. Young is a recent graduate of the University of the West Indies Cave Hill campus having completed his Doctor of Medicine degree in Internal Medicine. He is an eager academic who is passionate about medical education and changing the lives of young medical students to ensure bright futures ahead.

Dr. Young is interested in high-impact research which has potential to change the practice of Internal Medicine in the Caribbean. He has recently completed his DM project in looking at predictors of ILD in survivors of severe COVID-19 pneumonia in a black adult Caribbean population which can be used to create a discharge algorithm to prioritise and capture high risk patients.
