Bursaries (Continuing Undergraduate Students only)
The University of the West Indies offers Academic and Co-curricular bursaries to eligible continuing undergraduate students. 

Full-time students who would have successfully completed the first year of a three year degree programme, or the first year of the MBBS, Stage 1 Examinations in the Faculty of Medical Sciences by May 2019 are invited to apply for bursaries for the 2019/2020 academic year.
N.B. Students reading for the preliminary Agriculture course and more than one preliminary course in the Faculty Science & Technology are not eligible.

To be eligible for consideration for an academic bursary you must have a GPA of 3.0 or above.  To be eligible for consideration for a co-curricular bursary you must be involved in an approved co-curricular activity and maintain a B average.
 The following bursaries are available:

Awarded on the basis of the applicant's academic record with special reference to his/her performance in the 2018/2019 University examinations. (Normally A's & B+'s).

VALUE: BDS$2,230.00 
B. CO-CURRICULAR BURSARIES:- [ Click here to Complete Application Form  ]
Based on contribution to University life, as evidenced by the student's participation in co-curricular activities. Applicants must indicate the areas in which they have made contributions during the 2018/2019 academic year and request a Warden, Director of Sports, Director of Music, Director of Student Services, Dean or any other member of the Senior Administrative or Academic Staff of the University to sign the application form attesting to their involvement in such activities. (Normally, Minimum B average is required).

VALUE: BDS$2,230.00 
Students who are currently holders of Co-Curricular bursaries and who wish to be considered for another should re-apply. 

Application forms should be completed by June 30  of the current academic year.

Senior Assistant Registrar, Student Affairs (Admissions) (c/o Records Section) St. Augustine;
The Director, Office of Student Financing, Mona Campus;
The Resident Representative, Nassau, Bahamas;
The Registrar, Sir Arthur Lewis Community College, St. Lucia; or
The Registrar, Antigua State College.

N.B. Bursaries may not be held jointly with any other award where together the value is more than 15/25%* of maintenance cost plus tuition fees.
*25% - Mona Campus
15% - Cave Hill Campus
15% - St. Augustine Campus
