Graduate of the University of the West Indies and of the University of Ibadan; has taught at universities in Cameroon, Nigeria and the West indies.

Research Areas
The main area of research has been the social and economic history of British Cameroons, including the legal and administrative arrangements which regulated the territory. In addition, I am focused on the legacy of the African experience in Barbados and the way this is studied and taught, especially in schools. This body of research is evidenced in several publications.
