Caribbean Heritage Network

The Caribbean Heritage Network Project is an online platform for heritage professionals and historians.

 

Dictionary of Barbadian Biography

The project seeks to research and produce biographies on distinguished Barbadians whose contribution extend beyond their immediate circle. Persons selected for this first volume should have been dead by November 30, 2006.

 

Oral History Project

The Oral History Project commenced in the 1970s with recorded interviews of prominent Barbadian personalities, documenting working class institutions, local businesses and plantation subdivision.

A series of collaborative research between the History Department and the Barbados Museum and Historically Society

Popular radio series with 2 to 3 minute audio clips on important events in Barbadian History

 

UNESCO World Heritage Conference: The Story of Sugar and Rum Stakeholder Workshop Series

The project will seek to leverage Barbados' sugar and rum heritage as part of national and regional discussions on sustainable heritage tourism.
