A Teaching, Learning and Research Resource from the Department of History and Philosophy, The UWI, Cave Hill Campus, The History Forum is a meeting place for all those with an interest in history to learn about current research, discuss current trends in the discipline and share ideas.
Meetings for the History Forum are held during the semester usually every other Friday. The UWI History Cross-Campus Seminar Series has become an important feature of History Forum events where senior members (and guests) of The UWI’s History departments from St. Augustine, Cave Hill and Mona Campuses share their research virtually each semester.
Seminars are either held on campus or online. Presentations to the Forum include workshops, panel discussions, debates and reviews of important new publications, as well as traditional formal papers.
The History Forum has a social media presence on The History Forum Blog (
https://historyforumcavehillcampus.blogspot.com/), The History Forum Facebook Group (
https://www.facebook.com/groups/292901264079693) and on other social media platforms where community members can contribute to research and debate in History.
