Jalisa D Josiah  (Barbados)

Job Title: Graduate Teacher of English
Qualifications: B.A (Hons.) ; M.Ed. (Curriculum Studies - Distinction)
Graduation Year: 2016

Attending Cave Hill Campus to pursue my studies was one of the most rewarding experiences that I have ever encountered. The knowledge gained throughout my programme of study was extremely useful in contributing to my professional development in the field of teaching by exposing me to different strategies which I can utilise in my classroom to create a richer learning environment.

Throughout campus life, one of my many highlights was the camaraderie among the students. Additionally, I was truly grateful for the assistance given by my lecturer in Curriculum Studies, as well as other lecturers I have encountered, who always had our best interest at heart. To anyone who is interested in pursuing studies at U.W.I Cave Hill, I would encourage you to do so because it is an enrichening environment and a great experience which will be forever etched in your memories.
