POUi is now accepting submissions for July 2025. Submissions to POUI must be unpublished and original. Short stories should be between 1800 – 5000 words in word format. You may submit – online - up to three short stories at any one time, and five pages of poetry. Deadline for submissions is December 31 each year.

Please send your submission by attachment to poui@cavehill.uwi.edu including your full name in the body of the email but NOT on the work itself.

Length of submissions; etc. Prose (fiction and creative non-fiction) 5000 words max. Poetry as it comes.
