Click in each line to learn more about our BA&nbsp;programmes.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"lc-block\" editable=\"rich\">\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cavehill.uwi.edu\/fhe-lll\/programme\/ba-in-linguistics\/\">Linguistics<\/a> uses scientific methods to analyse language.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cavehill.uwi.edu\/fhe-lll\/programme\/ba-in-literatures-in-english\/\">Literatures in English<\/a> examines the artistic expression of language in the English-speaking world.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cavehill.uwi.edu\/fhe-lll\/programmes\/disciplines\/modern-languages\/\">Modern Languages<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cavehill.uwi.edu\/fhe-lll\/programme\/minor-in-chinese\/\">Chinese<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cavehill.uwi.edu\/fhe-lll\/programme\/ba-in-french\/\">French<\/a>, Portuguese, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cavehill.uwi.edu\/fhe-lll\/programme\/ba-in-spanish\/\">Spanish<\/a>) exposes students to different world cultures.<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cavehill.uwi.edu\/fhe-lll\/programmes\/academic-literacies-programme\/home\/\">Academic Literacies Programme<\/a> takes a practical approach to improving students\u2019 writing abilities in a variety of fields.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"lc-block\" editable=\"rich\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\tOur interdisciplinary MA in Caribbean Studies allows you to integrate these different perspectives into a single degree. The new Department became the larger of the two departments in the renamed Faculty of Humanities and Education (the other being History and Philosophy).
