It is our hope, too, to explore links between philosophy and related theoretical endeavours in such fields as politics, literature, psychology, etc.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cavehill.uwi.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/79\/Images\/Activities-Events\/CHiPS-Lecture.jpg\"><b>Cave Hill Philosophy Symposium (CHiPS) 2024<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\tC<\/b><b><i>onversations XVI: Work<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t<b>November 20 &#8211; 22, 2024<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t<a name=\"_Hlk17550948\"><\/a><a name=\"_Hlk163502550\">Work holds significant sway over our daily lives and societal structures, shaping how we organise ourselves and our communities. The nature of work has undergone profound transformations, and with ongoing advancements in AI, it is poised to evolve further. While work remains pivotal, questions arise regarding its nature, its value to humanity, and its impact on various facets of our lives.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\tThe 16th Cave Hill Philosophy Symposium seeks to delve into these issues, exploring the philosophical underpinnings of work. We are interested in papers that consider the ontological, ethical, political, economic, and social dimensions of work.
