Testimonial:
Following my retirement from the Public Service in 2017, I decided to pursue post graduate studies in History in order to expand my knowledge in an area in which I always maintained a keen interest. My first degree was in History. I enjoyed the opportunities for extensive research followed by analysis and historical writing. This programme has given me skills which are specific to the discipline of History and I am now pleased to engage in projects or other activities which permit use of my abilities.
Other Information
I have written and published the article “Frank Cuthbert Ramsey: an eminent physician” in BAMP Bulletin No. 195 Sep-Oct 2018.This article was a biography on Sir Frank Ramsey and an analysis of his contribution to paediatric medicine in Barbados. This work was supervised by Dr. Tara Inniss.
I have also been assisting with researching biographical data for The Dictionary of Barbadian Biography being produced by the History Department, UWI Cave Hill.
