It comprises <strong>Ministries of Education<\/strong> and national colleges in<em><strong> Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, British Virgin Islands, Commonwealth of Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia <\/strong><\/em>and <em><strong>St. Vincent and the Grenadines<\/strong><\/em>; <strong><em>Teachers\u2019 Associations<\/em><\/strong>; and the <em><strong>School of Education at The Cave Hill campus<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"lc-block\" editable=\"rich\">\n<p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cavehill.uwi.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/65\/Eastern-Caribbean-JBTE\/Images\/ECJBTE-Meeting-2025.jpg\" class=\"w-75\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cavehill.uwi.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/65\/Eastern-Caribbean-JBTE\/Images\/ECJBTE-Collage-2025.jpg\" class=\"img-fluid w-75\"><\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\tThe JBTE is the<em> premier certifying body<\/em> for teachers in the member countries and currently certifies teachers in <em><strong>Early Childhood Education; Primary Education; Secondary Education<\/strong><\/em> (with specialisation in the teaching of English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, History, Geography, Business, Modern Languages); and <strong><em>Technical and Vocational Education<\/em><\/strong> (Industrial Arts and Home Economics).&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\tThe JBTE regulates this two-year programme, at the end of which, successful students are awarded an Associate Degree in Education (ADE).&nbsp;
