The SOE plays a coordinating and supervisory role in the ECJBTE. It supervises the development of programmes and courses offered in the ADE programme; provides quality assurance for the examinations process and the practical teaching component of the programme; monitors the implementation of the ECJBTE regulations for the ADE; and, through the Secretariat, carries out the day-to-day administrative responsibilities of the Board.
