These subjects should include:<\/p>\n<div class=\"lc-block\" editable=\"rich\">\n<ul>\n<li>English A<\/li>\n<li>Mathematics<\/li>\n<li>Social Studies or History or Geography<\/li>\n<li>Science &#8211; Integrated Science or Human &amp; Social Biology or Agricultural Science or Pure Science, and<\/li>\n<li>One (1) additional subject<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>\n<strong>Interested persons who do not have the full qualifications should call their local college for information on how they can become eligible for entry to the programme of their choice.<\/strong><br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"lc-block\">\n<div editable=\"rich\">\n<h3>Secondary Education Programme<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>A&nbsp;<u>MINIMUM<\/u>&nbsp;of FIVE (5) CSEC subjects at General Proficiency Grades I, II, or III, <strong>OR<\/strong> the equivalent GCE Ordinary level passes, including English Language.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, specific entry requirements for specialisation in the various subject areas will be:<\/p>\n<div class=\"lc-block\" editable=\"rich\">\n<ul>\n<li>CAPE (2 Units) or GCE Advanced level passes, or an Associate Degree in the specialist subject (Major)<\/li>\n<li>At least a Grade 1 pass at the CSEC level or the equivalent in the specialist subject (Minor)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"lc-block\">\n<div editable=\"rich\">\n<h3>\nTechnical &amp; Vocational Education (TVET)&nbsp;Programme<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\nA <u>MINIMUM<\/u> of&nbsp;FIVE (5) CSEC subjects at General Proficiency Grades I, II, or III, OR the equivalent GCE Ordinary level passes, including English Language, Mathematics AND&nbsp;at least one TVET subject related to the programme to be pursued (e.g., Industrial Arts or Home Economics).<\/p>\n<p><strong>NB: Interested persons can also enter the ADE programmes under the Mature Student designation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cavehill.uwi.edu\/fhe-education\/eastern-caribbean-jbte\/ade-how-to-apply\/\">Find out HOW TO APPLY here &raquo;<\/a><br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"lc-block\" editable=\"rich\">\n<ul>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>            <br class=\"clear\">\n      <\/div>\n<\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Entry Requirements for the ADE Early Childhood Education and Primary&nbsp;Education Programmes A MINIMUM&nbsp;of FIVE (5) CSEC subjects at General Proficiency Grades I, II or III; OR&nbsp;FIVE (5) GCE Ordinary level passes OR the equivalent.
