Cry Water, Then Blood. A historical drama

The Faculty of Culture, Creative and Performing Arts presents "Cry Water, Then Blood", a historical drama set on the eve of the Easter Rebellion in Barbados.

Written and directed by Amanda Cumberbatch.

Dates: Thursday, March 28th and Saturday, March 30th, 2024
Time: 8 p.m. each night
Venue: Cynthia Wilson Lecture Theatre, The University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, Barbados

Cast: Sophia Lee, Christian-Kendahl Rock, Addis Ayele Matthias, Tiffani Amber Williams, Trinity Rose, Zion Rose, Simon Alleyne,  Kenneth 'Jack' Lewis, and introducing Talal Noumeh.

This production is supported by The Faculty of Humanities and Education, UWI, Cave Hill Campus, and funded by the Division of Culture in the Prime Minister's Office, through a grant from the Office of The Special Envoy for Reparations and Economic Enfranchisement.
