Building Resilience, Building Nations features a line-up of preeminent scholars and thought leaders from across various disciplines who will present on the campus’ contribution to the development of the region in various spheres, in terms of training of professionals and the creation of policies and programmes to aid in regional development.

Professor Alan Cobley of the Department of History & Philosophy at The UWI Cave Hill will deliver the first lecture in the series entitled
“From Zero to Sixty: The Development of The Cave Hill Campus”.

- Dr. Janice Cumberbatch, Lecturer, Centre for Resource Management and Environmental Studies (CERMES)
- Mrs. Amanda Reifer, Academy of Sport, The UWI Cave Hill Campus
- Dr. Marcia Burrowes, Lecturer in Cultural Studies, Department of Cultural Studies, Faculty of Humanities and Education, The UWI Cave Hill Campus
- Professor Velma Newton, Regional Director of the IMPACT Justice Project, The UWI Cave Hill Campus
- Professor Eudine Barriteau, Professor of Gender and Public Policy and former Pro Vice-Chancellor and Principal of the Cave Hill Campus
- Dr. Mechelle Gittens, Head of Department, Senior Lecturer in Computer Science, The UWI Cave Hill Campus
