During the calendar year 2023, The University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus which was established in 1963 will be celebrating 60 years of operations under the theme:
Resolute, and Resilient. These celebrations run parallel to The
UWI’s 75th anniversary commemorations being held to mark the establishment of the University’s first campus at Mona, Jamaica in 1948. To celebrate both milestones, several activities are carded to be held in Barbados and within the Eastern Caribbean, under our auspices. These year-round activities include lectures, symposia, campus tours, parish hikes and literary competitions for schools, among many others.
We are delighted to invite our treasured members of The UWI community, namely: students, alumni, staff and retirees, along with government, private sector stakeholders, future students and well-wishers to join in our diamond jubilee celebrations.
