Services

Qualifying Shares: Minimum of $100.00, with dividends approved by the membership at the Annual General Meeting.

Share Savings: Interest is calculated on minimum daily balances and is credited quarterly.

Deposits and Special Savings: Can be deposited or withdrawn on a daily basis (office hours). Interest is calculated on minimum daily balances and is credited quarterly.

Tuition Savings: Interest is calculated on minimum daily balances and is credited quarterly.

 

Electronic (Online) Transfers

You can use your online banking facility to transfer funds and make payments to your Credit Union account using either Royal Bank (Barbados) Limited or Republic Bank (Barbados) Limited.

OneUnion Prepaid Debit Card

The UWI Credit Union, in partnership with the City of Bridgetown Co-operative Credit Union Limited (COB), is offering its members a prepaid debit card.
 
Prepaid debit cards can help you to:

•     Manage your funds [you can only spend what is on the card].
•     Purchase items at local point-of-sale machines.
•     Withdraw cash from local ATMs (fees will be applicable at any non-COB ATMs).
•     Shop online. Avoid lines, traffic delays and excessive travel to the Credit Union to withdraw cash over the counter.

Remember, only you should have access to your card. Do not share your pin with anyone!

Loans: loans for provident and productive purposes are made to members. Sample categories are:
