Established on January 29, 1986, to meet the growing demand for financial services on Campus, the U.W.I. (Cave Hill) Credit Union Ltd. welcomed and continues to welcome members who have an affiliation with the University of the West Indies. To date, the Credit Union's membership is comprised of credit union and university staff, students and their relatives.

With Assets exceeding BDS$89M, the U.W.I. (Cave Hill) Co-operative Credit Union Ltd. is among the top ten (10) Credit Unions operating in Barbados.
Our Credit Union has made a significant contribution in helping shape the economic, social and physical landscape of the island. This has been achieved through our commitment to providing our members with a competitive suite of financial products and services.
Our Credit Union also facilitates the personal and financial development of members through targeted educational and learning opportunities, as well as allowing each member to participate in and contribute to a fully democratically run organization.
Our products and services are created to meet the needs of our members and include savings plans, mortgages and loans.
