Bookings and Use of the Facilities


  • All clients must complete a booking form which should be faxed or e-mailed to The Solutions Centre at least five working days prior to the event. Click to download booking forms for:

  • A deposit of 50% of the total booking should be forwarded to The Solutions Centre no later than four days after confirmation of the booking. The final 50% should be presented prior to or on the day of the event.
  • Changes to bookings must be received in writing (letter, e-mail or fax), no later than two working days prior to the booked date in order to facilitate your requests.
  • Cancellation of bookings must be received in writing five working days prior to the event. A failure to inform the Centre about the cancellation will result in the levying of a cancellation fee - 25% of the total booking costs.


Audio-Visual Equipment:

  • Clients are required to use the equipment provided.


General Information:

All participants are asked to adhere to the following:

  • Prior approval is needed for the hanging of external and internal banners.
  • Equipment such as the consoles in The Shell Suite and the FirstCaribbean Suite A should not be moved.
  • Removal of photographs must be done by the Centre’s Management.
  • A charge will be levied on clients who damage any property in the Centre.
  • Eating is not allowed in the lounge or the secretariat.



  • The client is responsible for the security of all personal effects placed in the Conference Suites. The UWI Solutions Centre does not accept responsibility/liability for lost or stolen items.
