
Mr. Weekes is a graduate of the MSc programme in natural Resource and Environmental Management offered by CERMES. Prior to his MSc, his main area of focus during his BSc was environmental management and Geography with a special interest in Geographic information Systems (GIS) and Ecology. Since then, his interests have expanded and now includes; coastal geomorphology and dynamics, coral reef ecology, and remote sensing. His main area of research thus far, involved the application of drone (UAV) and GIS technology in quantifying stranded sargassum seaweed in Barbados.
