The MSc in Natural Resource and Environmental Management is a taught interdisciplinary Programme comprising core courses in the first semester and courses from one of four specialisation streams in the second semester:

The overall objective of the Masters Programme in Natural Resource and Environmental Management is to contribute to sustainable development in the Caribbean region by training professionals in environmental and natural resource management. The Programme seeks to provide graduate students with advanced training in techniques, mechanisms and policies for sustainable use and management of natural resources in the Caribbean.

The Programme is one of the University Grants Committee (UGC)-funded programmes and students are billed a flat fee every semester. The quantum of the fee is determined by the Faculty in which your programme falls, whether you are a full-time or part-time student, and your country of nationality.
Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree appropriate to the MSc with a minimum GPA of 2.5.
The Department will also consider applicants who do not have a first degree but who have years of relevant experience.
Applications are accepted from November to February. However, expressions of interest are accepted ALL year.
