To gather baseline socio-economic information to inform development decision-making and enhance the environmental condition of Rose Place
  • To use the information to guide development of the area with specific linkages to the fisheries sector and other relevant projects
  • To minimise the risk of environmental hazards and improve safety standards in the area
  • To reduce resource use conflicts among user groups
  • To improve public awareness of coastal resources and contribute to responsible environmental management and enhancement of the environmental condition of the area
