Panama Business Spanish Immersion Programme

Program Highlights
  • Intensive Spanish Language Classes: Daily six-hour sessions tailored to different proficiency level and focusing on practical communication skills.
  • Cultural Workshops: Learn about Panamanian culture, history, and traditions through interactive sessions like Salsa dancing and sunset bike rides.
  • Business Seminars: Engage with local business professionals to understand Panamanian business practices and opportunities.
  • Field Trips: Visit significant cultural and historical sites, including the Panama Canal, Colon Free Trade Zone and the Gamboá Rainforest.
  • Certificates will be awarded on completion. 
 
Immersion Tour Package Cost:
  • Double occupancy package: US$3,700 per person
  • Single occupancy package: US$4,300 each
 
 
Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
 
IMPORTANT: The programme fee does not include air fare, lunch, dinner and general/shopping expenses and incidentals. Participants are responsible for securing airline travel as well as visas to Panama where necessary. Holders of Barbados passports do not require a visa.
 
All participants are responsible for the above full cost of the programme which includes:
  • Tuition fees: 6 hours a day of small group Spanish language training for beginner, intermediate and advance levels. For suitable group placement, participants much complete the Casco Antiguo Spanish Assessment online. 
    No prior knowledge of Spanish is required. Small group sessions from Absolute Beginner to Advanced will be accommodated.
  •  Accommodation: 14 nights at a 3-star hotel, with breakfast. Hotel stays outside of this timeframe are the responsibility of the participant.
  • Tours: Cultural tours to the Gamboa Rainforest and Emberá Indigenous Community, the Panama Canal, Colon Free Trade Zone, Albrook Mall.
  • Evening social activities (Monday to Thursday): Salsa dancing, sunset bike tous, happy hour, and others).
    • transportation and entrance fees are included for all organised tours and social activities.
  • Transportation: Airport pickup and drop off, daily transfer to and from Casco Antiguo Spanish School, transfers to tourist, social and shopping sites.
  • Amenities: A local SIM card with unlimited data with be provided for each participant.
 
IMPORTANT: Direct flights from Barbados to Panama are scheduled for Wednesdays and Saturdays only.
 
Accommodation and Logistics
  • Comfortable and convenient accommodations in Panama City at 3-star hotels.
  • Transportation will be provided for all scheduled activities.
  • Meals: Breakfast included in hotel package. Participants are responsible for daily lunch and dinner.
 
Participant Responsibilities
  • Secure any required entry visa to Panama and return airline tickets.
  • Obtain comprehensive travel insurance.
  • Provide emergency contact information and disclose any medical conditions or dietary restrictions.
  • Business casual wear is recommended throughout the programme. Note however that practical experience tours may take place during study hours, and you should dress appropriately based on the weather and the activity. The tour itinerary will be shared upon full payment.
  • Assume responsibility for daily lunch and dinner and the associated expenses.
 
Safety and Conduct
  • Participants are responsible for keeping themselves safe and out of harm’s way.
  • Adhere to a code of conduct promoting respect, responsibility, and cultural sensitivity.
  • Comply with all local laws and regulations.
 
Terms and Conditions
  • The Organisers are not liable for any cancellations, delays, changes of dates, changes in tourist and social destinations, or any other modifications to the itinerary.
  • Participants who cancel their participation will forfeit a portion or all fees paid.
  • The Organisers reserve the right to cancel any activity due to insufficient participation.
  • Participants must ensure they meet all travel requirements and independently board their flights.
