Optimized-CBS-Lecture-2021_1080_22-01-edited-v2.jpgFor the second edition of the Quarterly Lecture Series, the CBS hosted a Webinar and panel discussion under the theme Exploring Caribbean Climate Change: Extreme Heat, Sea Level Rise and Air Pollution which showcased some of the science and policy that are driving regional mitigation efforts in these areas. This occurred on Thursday 28th January 2021 via Zoom.
 
Three speakers were invited, who addressed extreme heat, rising sea levels and air pollution respectively:

Associate Professor of Sociology, Syracuse University
 
Mrs. Tashana Redmond-George
Senior Environmental Officer, Environmental Protection Agency, Guyana

The webinar and panel discussion were moderated by Ms. Christianne Walcott, Operations Manager at the CBS.
