Inaugural Lecture Series


 
The Centre for Biosecurity Studies launched its Inaugural Public Lecture Series on Monday, February 24, 2020 at The University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus in Barbados. The Keynote Speaker for the Lecture Series was Mr. O’Neil Hamilton, CARICOM Regional Implementation Coordinator, United Nations Security Council Resolution 1540, who presented on “Advancing Biosecurity Governance in the Caribbean: The Role of the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention and UN Security Council Resolution 1540”.
 
Mr. Hamilton headlined this traveling Lecture Series as it continued on to Saint Kitts on March 9, 2020 and Saint Lucia on March 12, 2020.
