BNR Annual CME Seminar Series Webinar

Event Date: Thursday, October 28, 2021

BNR - Registration for CME Series web (2021-10)-9-28-2021.jpg

The Barbados National Registry is pleased to open registration for their annual CME Seminar Series which will be held virtually again this year.

Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) continue to be the main causes of death in Barbados. In 2019, the Ministry of Health and Wellness, and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital were charged with reducing mortality from NCDs to rates in keeping with the internationally accepted standard of below 10%. However, COVID-19 has since capitalised the focus of the local health system. Meanwhile, the loss of life due to NCDs continues. This year's BNR Seminar will seek to address some of the ways to reduce the mortality, and the morbidity, of stroke and heart attack, thereby reducing the personal and health system burden of these diseases.

To register,  please click on the following link: Reducing the Mortality and Morbidity from Stroke and Heart Attacks.

ALL payments must be made online or through the Bursary at the Cave Hill Campus.

Please note that the participant link will be sent the week of the event.
