
Students will learn substantive provisions of competition law, case law, how firms and markets are organized, use of economics in investigations, and court hearings; challenges with dealing with extra regional cross border conduct; interrogating the contending views on how competition law should be tailored and enforced.

The LLM programme in Competition Law and Policy are designed for practitioners in law, including in-house counsel, economists in firms, private sector lawyers, the judiciary, and staff of competition commissions to prepare them for representing their firms or clients in competition cases, for becoming enforcers in competition commissions, or for the judiciary in adjudicating competition cases.
The programme is offered synchronous online so there is no need to come to Barbados
The courses will be taught on two week days from 5-8 pm AST and on Saturdays from 9-12 AST so as to facilitate working professionals
Candidates for the UWI LL.M. Degree (Competition Law and Policy) must complete thirty-six (36) credit hours of the designated course of study comprised of six (6) credits each.
Four (4) courses must be selected from the prescribed list of courses below. The remaining two (2) courses can be selected from any courses offered in the UWI LL.M. Programme.
We offer low tuition fees and several scholarships and financial aid are available.
LL.M. Programme fee: BDS $20,000 (US $10,000)
Postgraduate Dip. Programme fee: BDS $13,300 (US $6,650)
Plus ID Card Fee – BDS $30.00 (US $15.00)
