PERSONAL ACADEMIC CAREER ENRICHMENT (P.A.C.E.)

The Purpose of P.A.C.E. is to give you the tools needed to succeed at The University of the West Indies. The culture and learning style is different from what you have experienced before and we want to make the transition easy and seamless. We offer group sessions in which you and your colleagues can discuss common interests in relation to well-being, academic and career goals.

•The ability to critically evaluate your own methods of learning in light of the
- information shared by the facilitators and your peers
• The opportunity to acknowledge and honour your own abilities
• The ability to collectively generate new solutions to problems

You will learn how to study smart, make friends, negotiate difficult relationships, solve problems creatively and begin to plan for your future in a chosen career.

R.A.P.S. is a component of P.A.C.E. which specializes in strengthening your ability to make sound and effecutal conclusions through assessing facts or theses.

• Knowledge of the importance of possessing academic and personal integrity
