PROGRAMME INFORMATON

ADMISSION CRITERIA:

To qualify for entry into a programme candidates must have the following minimum requirements:

• Four CXC/GCE ‘O’ Level passes, including English,
• Qualification recognized by UWI for matriculation, or in the opinion of the University, practical experience and other qualifications or a general standard of education of special relevance to the course.
• Mature candidates, 21 years and over, seeking admission who do not satisfy the requirements above, but who are deemed capable of doing the standard of work required for these programmes on basis of their work experience, may be permitted to enter the programme at the discretion of the School of Continuing Studies UWI.

APPLICATION AND REGISTRATION:

All applications must be submitted by March 31 to be assessed. Registration must be completed by August 31. Enrolling students would be notified of the late registration period or changes to the dates for registration.

FEE INFORMATION:
Academic programmes $350.00 per course.
Professional Development programmes $300.00 per course or stipulated in the programme brochure.

HOW TO APPLY FOR A CERTIFICATE:

Students desiring the Certificate must complete a formal application and submit it to the

UWI School of Continuing Studies.The application may be submitted:

• In person: to the UWI, School of Continuing Studies, Pine East West Boulevard, Pine St. Michael.
• By fax: 246-427-4397
• By mail: UWI, School of Continuing Studies, Pine East/West Boulevard, Pine St. Michael.

All applications must be accompanied with original or certified copies of certificates and an Application fee of $30.
