The Faculty of Medical Sciences' (formerly The School of Clinical Medicine and Research) teaching programme in Barbados began in 1967, along with that in Trinidad, as the Eastern Caribbean Medical Scheme.

The University will be offering the Medical Sciences Degree (MBBS) at Cave Hill Campus with effect from August 2008. Applicants should therefore note the criteria as set out under Entry Requirements and complete the application online or on paper.
