The Journal of Eastern Caribbean Studies (JECS), is an area studies journal dedicated to the Eastern Caribbean and addressing small states.  Small island developing states occupy the geographic space known as the Eastern Caribbean and their navigation of the current world order; the role of the State, business class and households in the everyday life of capitalist modernity; the regional integration experience of the Member States making up the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States and the intersectionality of gender, race and class constitute some of the themed topics published.  The JECS is also keen to continue publishing articles interrogating cultural, educational and anthropological issues.

Contributions are welcome!

This journal links the academic terrains of the Eastern Caribbean, the Commonwealth Caribbean, and other developing countries in the Americas. However, it remains keen on rendering Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, St. Kitts-Nevis, St. Lucia, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines visible to a global community of students, researchers, policymakers, and investors.

While the contents of each issue will not be available in electronic form over the Internet, you will be able to read the abstracts of upcoming issues.
