Re-election of Judge Robinson

Jamaican judge, Patrick Robinson was on Monday, October 26, 2009 re-elected to serve a new two year term as President of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, based in the Hague, Netherlands.

At a plenary session of the Tribunal's judges, Robinson was re-elected by acclamation, having been first elected President last year.

He recently had the national award, Order of Jamaica conferred on him for his contribution to International Law and International Relations.

He is also the author of the book "Jamaican Athletics - A Model for 2012 and the World"
