Outstanding Cave Hill alumnus awarded the Order of Knight Bachelor

Chief Justice of St. Kitts and Nevis the Honourable Chief Justice, Hugh Anthony Rawlins had the Award of the Order of the Knight Bachelor conferred on him  on March 27, 2012 by Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.

Sir Hugh, a graduate of the Faculty of Law, was awarded the knighthood in recognition of his meritorious work within the public service.

He had been confirmed in the Office of Chief Justice on May 30, 2008, after serving in an acting capacity for one month.
