UWI IN THE COMMUNITY LECTURES

 The Open Campus(UWI), Barbados in collaboration with the Central Bank of Barbados presents two UWI in the Community lunchtime lectures.

On Wednesday, March 4, 2009, Dr. Kean Gibson, Senior Lecturer in Linguistics at the Cave Hill Campus speak on the topic “The Issue of Race in Guyana”.

The preparation for an online university comes in to focus on Thursday, March 12 as a panel consisting of Drs. Paul Walcott, Colin Depradine and Leah Garner-O’Neale, from Faculty of Pure & Applied Sciences, discuss the topic “Getting Ready for an Online University: A Study of the Technology Skills Needed”.

 Both lecture lectures begin at 12 noon and will be held in the Grande Salle, Central Bank of Barbados.
