All scholarship applications must be submitted by May 31. The meeting to award Scholarships is held in June/July and successful awardees will be notified as soon as possible thereafter.
Please note that applications without the necessary supporting documentation will not be considered.
THE UNIVERSITY OF THE WEST INDIES GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS
- open to graduates of the University of the West Indies and West Indian graduates of other approved Universities who intend to pursue a research degree (M.Phil., Ph.D.) on a full-time basis.
ELSA GOVEIA GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP
- open to graduates of the University of the West Indies or the University of Guyana or another Caribbean University pursuing studies in M.Phil or Ph.D. programmes full-time in Caribbean History.
REX NETTLEFORD GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP
- open to graduates of the University of the West Indies or other approved Universities pursuing studies in M. Phil or Ph.D. programmes full-time in any of the following areas; Sociology, Anthropology, Cultural Studies or Gender Studies.
THE BARBADOS ASSOCIATION OF RETIRED PERSONS (BARP) POSTGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP
- open to Barbadian graduate students undertaking studies full-time researching any issue dealing with aging.

THE SOL POSTGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP - open to nationals from the OECS and Caribbean region who are full-time or part-time registered students undertaking postgraduate programmes in the Faculties of Science & Technology and Social Sciences.

THE POSTGRADUATE FEE WAIVER SCHOLARSHIP - tenable only at the Cave Hill Campus of the University of the West Indies. It is open to nationals of the contributing territories of the University of the West Indies who have been accepted into the current academic year to pursue full - time or part- time studies in any MPhil or Ph.D. Programme at The UWI, Cave Hill Campus
