My PhD work is expected to focus on generating comprehensive regional downscaled climate outputs that would better detect changes on island-scales, develop scenarios/ guides and determine their applicability to
an integrated mitigation and adaptation approach at the local and regional levels in the Caribbean. My research will also investigate and recommend corresponding robust adaptation and mitigation measures that
will optimise regional response to potential risks as a result of climate change and climate variability. Not only will this work assist in the reduction of reduce uncertainty associated these phenomena as well, but will
also provide bases for future research.
