Dr. Philmore Alleyne

Post: Lecturer in Accounting and Head, Department of Management Studies

Qualifications: B.Sc. UWI, ACCA, M.BA. Oxford Brookes, PGDip (Res), Ph.D. Bradford, FCCA

Dr. Alleyne was awarded the Principal's Award for Excellence in 2012 for outstanding research accomplishments. In the 13 years since Dr. Alleyne has switched from a professional accountant to an academic, he has built up an impressive record in research, with 25 publications to his name, several of which have appeared in leading international journals. His research encompasses business ethics and corporate whistle blowing in the Caribbean, UK and USA jurisdictions.

Dr. Winston Moore

Post: Senior Lecturer, Department of Economics

Qualifications: B.Sc. UWI, M.Sc. Warwick, Ph.D. Surrey

Dr. Moore was also awarded the Principal's Award for Excellence in 2012 for outstanding research accomplishments. Since joining the UWI Cave Hill Campus in 2006, Dr. Winston Moore has authored 53 publications, including two published books, 37 refereed articles and 12 technical and consultancy reports. Voted Most Outstanding Young Economist by the Barbados Economics Society in 2006, he has been at the forefront of major national projects in resource and development economics including the Green Economy Scoping Study which the campus conducted on behalf of the Government of Barbados.
