Brief Bio:

Korah Belgrave served as Coordinator of the Foundation Language Programme and taught courses in Language and Linguistics from 1995 until 2008. She is currently teaching in Linguistics and Communication Studies and has the responsibility of developing an undergraduate programme in Communication Studies.

Research Interests:

Barbadian Standard English, Bajan Creole English, teaching English to speakers of a related vernacular, teaching English to speakers of other languages, language and communication in the Anglophone Caribbean, language and the media, establishing language standards.
